Museum of Krakow

Museum of Krakow (until 2013 the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow) is Krakow's municipal history museum, founded by the city council on 31 May 1899. It runs around fifteen branches across the city, from the Krzysztofory Palace to Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory and the Eagle Pharmacy, each preserving a distinct chapter of local history: medieval fortifications, Jewish heritage, the German occupation, and postwar Nowa Huta. Collections span iconography, decorative arts, armaments, and archaeological finds.
