Photographer, creative, and animation lecturer Michal Kudláček will present a fragmentary overview of his independent work in the fields of photomedia and moving image.
Kudláček connects the aesthetics of video art pioneers (Vasulka effect) with Lynchian dreaminess. He works with phasing of movement, layering of figures and their fragments, and visual noise. The individual media function as tones in a musical composition — exploring the interspace between inner experience, timelessness, and reality.
The installation reacts directly to the cafe space — it functions as its visual mapping, naturally connecting individual fragments into one continuous whole.
Michal Kudláček works as an in-house photographer for Gočár Gallery.
The exhibition was prepared by the GG curatorial team.
