About the exhibition
· Show originalThis outdoor panel exhibition commemorates the 550th anniversary of the publication of the oldest printed book in the Czech Republic and introduces the beginnings and development of book printing in Pilsen since 1476. The content of the exhibition is a combination of a borrowed exhibition from the National Library together with newly prepared panels by staff from the Study and Research Library of the Pilsen Region and the library of the Museum of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The exhibition also introduces both institutions as custodians of significant collections of old prints, incunabula, and other rare prints.
