Museum Kitzbühel
Kitzbühel Museum is the municipal museum of Kitzbühel, Tyrol, tracing the town's history from Bronze Age copper mining through its Baroque heyday to the rise of winter sports. Reopened in 2002 in a redesigned building by architect Elsa Prochazka, it grew from a local-history collection first shown in 1934 and now includes a dedicated gallery for painter Alfons Walde. An extension completed in 2021 added rooms used for rotating special exhibitions on local art, history, society and culture.
